My Policies
- You must be 18 years of age to adopt, or have your legal guardian's consent.
- If you rent I will verify the pet policy with your landlord/institution. If living with a roommate/family everyone in the household must consent. I will not place my rats in a situation where I feel they would be in danger or threatened.
- Babies will be available to go to their new homes no sooner than 8 weeks of age.
- Rats will NOT be sold to live as singles, a same sex or spayed/neutered companion must be provided.
- Single rats are only available to existing mixed age mischiefs at my discretion, otherwise a rats must go in pairs.
- I do NOT sell Feeders.
- My rats are sold on strict PET ONLY contracts and NOT to be used for breeding, for any purpose, unless otherwise specified.
- I reserve the right to refuse or deny adoption of any rat for any reason.
- Pick up is to be done in Osceola Iowa. I do not offer delivery or shipping, though I am willing to work with transport if they can meet in Osceola.
- Available rats are first come first serve. You can locate all available rats under the 'Available Rats' Sub-tab.
- I require a 50% nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit to officially reserve any rats, this fee will be payable via paypal or CashApp.
My Adoption Fee
The standard adoption fee is $30.00 per rat
*Retired breeders or older/returned rats may be available at discount rates. Prices will be posted with the available rats.
Adoptions include:
-A small ziplock bag of Mazuri
-A small fleece bonding pouch
-A disposable go home container for transport*
*(These are only suitable for rats up to 9 weeks old)
